lyrics
Text:
Never-ending winter drapes an ashen veil;
Barren fields once plenty, now vacant and forlorn.
In this world where darkness threatens to prevail,
Our hopeful hearts, undaunted, must vow to break the morn:
Be the sunlight that wakens the seeds in the springtime,
Warm the earth where they lay, that their tender roots take hold.
Be the sunlight that beckons them rise, ever skyward,
And shine on their blossoms, wash their petals in gold!
Never-ending winter drapes an ashen veil;
Beam through the shadows, the looming shrouds of gray;
Stream rays of kindness to wrest the clouds away!
Be the sunlight that wakens the seeds in the springtime,
Warm the earth where they lay, that their tender roots take hold.
Be the sunlight that beckons them rise, ever skyward,
And shine on their blossoms, wash their petals in gold,
And shine on their blossoms, wash their petals in gold,
In gold,
In gold!
